Q. What is VR?

A. Apart from being insanely cool, virtual reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds as VR lets the user be directly inside an experience, instead of traditionally viewing on a screen in front of them.

Q. Where is the best place to experience VR?

A. To safely enjoy VR, ideally you will need a minimum of 2 meters by 1.5 meters of free space (6.5ft x 5ft) but there are no legal minimum requirements, these are just our recommendations.

Q. Is VR safe?

A. Like anything, it is possible to have too much of a good thing. We recommend taking regular breaks and enjoying no longer than periods of 10 mins at a time whilst using VR.

Q. Once I click on a video how do i get it to play in VR mode?

A. Once the video screen pops up, click the Google Cardboard logo at the bottom right of the video player window and away you go.

Q. The video quality is terrible, how do I get a higher resolution?

A. YouTube and other streaming websites will automatically play VR videos in the highest quality format according to the strength of your internet. To watch in a higher format click the settings tab located in the bottom right of the video player and adjust the quality accordingly, but you may have to wait for the video to load.
